Roshely Quiñones-Rodriguez, BA, Psychology Intern

Roshely Quiñones-Rodriguez graduated from the University of Puerto Rico-Cayey Campus with a B.A. in General Social Sciences in 2019. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at the University of Puerto Rico-Rio Piedras Campus. Her primary areas of interest include Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) outcomes across the lifespan, diagnostic and behavioral assessments and interventions for children, teenagers, and adults with ASD and other developmental disorders, community integration for individuals diagnosed with neurodevelopmental disorders, and overall well-being for the geriatric population, among others. Ms. Quiñones-Rodriguez is also fluent in English and Spanish, allowing her to offer interventions in both languages.

Her supervised doctoral clinical practicum experience spans a variety of clinical settings, including early intervention, schools, community mental health, and an anxiety disorder clinic. In these roles, she supported infants and toddlers in acquiring new skills through multidisciplinary and parent-teacher behavioral and developmental consultation. Ms. Quiñones-Rodriguez has conducted therapy, as well as psychological, diagnostic, and neuropsychological assessments for individuals across all age groups. Additionally, she has worked with caregivers of individuals with Alzheimer’s, providing individual therapy, and has also provided therapy for individuals with a range of diagnoses, including anxiety and depressive disorders, ASD, and Speech-Language Disorder.

Ms. Quiñones-Rodriguez’s personal and professional experiences have deepened her appreciation for the value of connectedness, shaping her understanding of the importance of community collaboration and embracing diversity. She strives to create a clinical environment where clients, viewed as part of multiple systems, can develop integrated resources to help them navigate the communities they belong to.

Ms. Quiñones-Rodriguez enjoys engaging in dynamic and spontaneous activities that foster connection with others, such as martial arts, music, theater, and outdoor adventures.
