Rehabilitative Mental Health Services
Adult Rehabilitative Mental Health Services (ARMHS) is a service for individuals aged 18 and older with mental health conditions who need more intensive services to promote mental health stability and restore or enhance functioning when functioning has been impaired due to their mental health diagnosis. Services can focus on the following areas:
Basic Living and Social Skills, including: interpersonal communication; using community resources; budgeting, shopping and healthy lifestyles; mental illness symptom management; household management; and employment related skills
Community Intervention, which refers to working with members of the community to help the individual function more independently
Children's Therapeutic Services and Supports (CTSS) is a package of intensive programming with multiple treatment components, including individual, group, or family therapies, and individual, group, or family skills training. Services can be provided in the home, school, or community setting to children and families when the child is through age 21. Services can include but are not limited to the following:
Behavior Management
Social Skills Development
Improving Parent-Child Relationships
Emotional Regulation, i.e., coping skills and anger management for children
North Dakota Rehabilitation is a service provided for both adults and children that are North Dakota Medicaid recipients. The goal of rehabilitation is to reduce the risk of hospitalization or out-of-home placement. Services are provided by Rehabilitation Therapists, Behavior Modification Specialists, and Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Services include:
