Lindsay Mayer, MS, Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (MN)

Lindsay Mayer received both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Bethel University. She completed her internship in outpatient therapy and play therapy. She is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in Minnesota.

Prior to joining Solutions, Ms. Mayer worked as a residential counselor for teens. She provided services to children in foster care working on reunification and conducted in-home therapy. She also has experience as a behavior technician, providing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to individuals with autism. Since 2017, she has worked as an outpatient therapist for clients of all ages, offering both in-person and telehealth services. Ms. Mayer is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and is currently working toward certification in Perinatal Mental Health. She has also served as a Qualified Supervising Professional and is trained to provide Comprehensive Multi-Disciplinary Evaluations for clients with autism and their families.

Her areas of specialty include perinatal mental health, pregnancy and infant loss, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, autism, foster care and adoption, and working with children and adolescents. She loves working with children, adolescents, and their families, helping them navigate life’s challenges and develop tools to support them throughout their lives. Ms. Mayer is especially passionate about working with women and couples experiencing pregnancy or infant loss, postpartum depression, and perinatal anxiety. She considers it an honor to partner with clients through their life challenges and joys, viewing it as a privilege to walk alongside them as they process, learn, and grow. She strives to ensure that her clients feel ownership of their progress, empowered in their journey, and safe and comfortable in therapy. Her goal is to provide a warm, welcoming, and judgment-free space for clients to process life’s challenges.

In her spare time, Ms. Mayer enjoys volunteering in children’s ministries at her church, as well as cooking and traveling.
