Kimberly Gaalswyk, LMSW (ND), LGSW (MN)

Kimberly received her BSW degree at the University of North Dakota in August 2023, she then went on to receive her MSW at the University of Kentucky in May 2024.

Kimberly has worked in education for the last 12 years, in various roles beginngin with reception, then assistent secretary to the Administrative Assistant at an ALC in Owatonna, MN, and finally a Behavior Technician at Heritage Middle School in Horace, ND. For the past 7 years, she has worked with students with special needs, including learning disabilities, autism, and down syndrome.

Kimberly volunteers with the ABLE Games-judging the past 3 years, she is licensed with PATH foster care in North Dakota providing respite for foster families. She is trained in CAMS Suicide assessment and treatment. In addition to her MSW, she obtained a certificate in Trauma Responsive Practice from the University of Kentucky.

She enjoys helping other accomplish the goals they set for themselves to find wholeness and healing in their life, and to foster hope through encouragement in their ability to make the necessary changes. She values honesty, integrity, dependability, efficiency, and quality within her work.

She enjoys spending time outdoors, especially if it’s hot! In her freetime, she loves to travel, try new restaurants and recipes, and spend time with her 8 children, son and daughter-in-law and her 7 grandchildren.
