Kelsey Mehus received both her Bachelor of Science in Social Work (BSSW) and Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University of North Dakota. During her undergraduate training, she completed an internship at the Care and Share Center, where she coordinated services for the homeless shelter for men, women, and families, assisted with parenting skills training, and coordinated outside services such as housing, employment, and food assistance. For her graduate internship, she trained at Northwestern Mental Health Center, working with the Early Childhood Mental Health team for children under the age of six and participating in the North Star program, which included social and emotional skills groups.

Mrs. Mehus is licensed as a Clinical Social Worker in North Dakota and is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Minnesota. She has experience with in-home services for children and conducting DC:0-5 assessments. At Solutions, Kelsey provides outpatient therapy services, primarily working with children and families. She is certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Cognitive Processing Therapy, and she is currently working toward certification in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy.
