Justine Jarmin, LPCC
Justine graduated with a Bachelor of Science from North Dakota State University in 2014, then went on to receive her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Minnesota State University Moorhead in 2017. She interned at the community outreach center at MSUM working with young adults on campus and in the community.
Justine worked as a school-based therapist in rural Minnesota through a community mental health agency for 6.5 years, the first 5 years she worked with children and adolescents experiencing behavioral issues, trauma, crises, depression, and anxiety. She transferred to the outpatient side to begin working with adults.
She is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in Minnesota She is trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessiong (EMDR).
Justine finds that being able to meet people where they are when they come to her office and supporting them with whatever they are experiencing in life is most meaningful in her work. She values being authentic, caring, trustworthy, and genuine in her work. She values providing a nonjudgemental, empowering space for individuals to be able to be vulnerable and express and advocate for themselves.
She enjoys spending time with family and friends, riding bike, and puzzling.
