Justine Jarmin, Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor

Justine earned her Bachelor of Science degree from North Dakota State University in 2014, followed by a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Minnesota State University Moorhead in 2017. During her graduate studies, she completed an internship at the MSUM Community Outreach Center, where she worked with young adults on campus and within the community.

For 6.5 years, Justine served as a school-based therapist in rural Minnesota through a community mental health agency. In the first five years of her role, she worked primarily with children and adolescents experiencing behavioral challenges, trauma, crises, depression, and anxiety. She later transitioned to outpatient therapy to focus on working with adults.

Justine is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in Minnesota. She is trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

She finds deep meaning in meeting individuals where they are in their journey and providing support for whatever challenges they may be facing. She values authenticity, care, trustworthiness, and genuineness in her work. Creating a nonjudgmental and empowering space where clients feel safe to be vulnerable, express themselves, and advocate for their needs is central to her approach.

Outside of work, Justine enjoys spending time with family and friends, biking, and working on puzzles.
