Internship SITES

Solutions' main office is in Moorhead, and there are outlying office sites in Detroit Lakes, Fergus Falls, Alexandria, and St. Cloud, MN, as well as Fargo, ND. Each clinic site has a Clinic Manager. Each mental health clinic site also has an autism clinic. The Clinic Manager oversees Outpatient Mental Health Professionals, the Community Services Supervisor and front desk staff. The Community Services Supervisor oversees mid-level staff who provide primarily outreach services, such as Case Managers, Mental Health Practitioners and Behavior Interventionists, as well as staff in mental health technician roles. Mental Health Professionals include: Licensed Psychologists, LICSW’s, LPCC’s, LMFT’s, and BCBA’s. Psychology Interns are administratively supervised by the Licensed Psychologist from the Moorhead Clinic who is also the Primary Supervisor for their experiences in Moorhead.

Interns receive training three days per week at the Moorhead clinic and they are scheduled two days each week at the Detroit Lakes, MN office. The largest portion of the Solutions staff is located in Moorhead, MN. The Moorhead office suite is handicap accessible. Interns each have an individual office space, which is equipped with a desk top computer, private phone, and a file cabinet which can be locked. Laptop computers are available for check out. Interns will have access to the electronic medical records system, Microsoft Outlook email, and the suite of Microsoft Office products. A room specifically used for assessments is available to the interns as are various test kits and test scoring software. There are administrative professionals who serve as the receptionist for the office. These individuals schedule clients and check them in for their appointments. There are administrative staff who assist with ordering testing supplies and who help with some of the scoring. Administrative staff also assist with billing support.
