Elizabeth Wagner, MSW, LGSW, Clinical Trainee

Elizabeth Wagner graduated from Concordia University Nebraska in 2013 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. She then completed a dual master’s program in St. Louis, Missouri, earning a Master of Social Work from St. Louis University in 2016 and a Master of Deaconess Studies from Concordia Seminary in 2017.

Ms. Wagner is a Licensed Graduate Social Worker in Minnesota and is under clinical supervision as she pursues her LICSW. Before joining Solutions in 2018, she worked in a variety of settings, including medical facilities, community centers, counseling centers, and churches. She has experience in hospice care, crisis intervention, disadvantaged youth programs, program development, and volunteer recruitment.

Currently, Ms. Wagner provides services to both children and adults in outpatient and community settings. She specializes in working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, autism, ADHD, and developmental concerns. She utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), an evidence-based therapy for the treatment of trauma.

Ms. Wagner is passionate about walking alongside clients in their struggles and witnessing their personal growth throughout the therapeutic journey. She enjoys helping individuals identify their strengths, build skills for success, and integrate a holistic approach to counseling.

In her free time, she enjoys music, reading, learning new skills, knitting, and participating in her faith community. She also loves spending time outdoors, taking in the beauty of Minnesota through walking her dog, water sports, and cross-country skiing.
