This program is designed for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and related conditions, and uses intervention strategies consistent with Applied Behavior Analysis. Early intervention is paramount, and at AIM a) target the functional skills and core domains of children with ASD, while also b) educating, training and supporting parents and families, c) promoting independence and participation in family, school and community life, and d) improving long-term outcomes and quality of life for children with ASD and their families.

Behavior Analysis focuses on the principles of behavior that explain how learning takes place. Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) uses these techniques and principles to promote improvement in areas that are socially meaningful. ABA is an evidence-based intervention in which ongoing data is collected to evaluate the change in behavior.
